Is my log in for eBay.com.au the same as eBay.com? Are they 2 separate accounts?

Just wondering if eBay.com.au is the same as eBay.com.  I think a long time ago I logged into eBay.com, but have never returned to using anything via that site, and now just use the eBay.com.au.  Just thought if might be better security to delete anything to do with eBay.com. 

Any thoughts..?

Same log in.

Visit ebay.com and see if you're logged in.

Then log out.

It won't log you out of ebay.com.au
