There use to be a section on ebay where members could list item that they are looking for?

Does ebay still run this section where I can advertise and if any member has such item, they can contact me?

No, sorry. eBay got rid of 'Wanted' many years ago.

All you can do is save searches and set notifications for if/when somebody lists what you're looking for.
