returned an item for repair/refund

Hi I bought a uhf radio from china after I received it it started to become faulty so I sent it back to china for repair or refund, they have had the radio for a few  months  and now they  have not sent it back to me or answer my emails.  To much time has gone past so ebay and paypal wont do any thing about it what can I do.

You can be thankful that your house hasn't burnt down, you've learnt a valuable lesson about buying things (especially electrical) from China, and you can now go and buy a radio from an authorised Australian seller who will give you an enforceable warranty.

As far as the Chinese radio goes, you have done your dough.

The best thing you can do is not put yourself and those around at risk by buying such an item from a seller like this

That aside, I doubt they ever had any intention of refunding or replacing it

How do you go about returning the item? (Just on their say so, or through the proper eBay process)?

"from China" - there's your problem, right there. Inferior quality goods, huge turnaround time even in the best of circumstances, and zero accountability when the you-know-what hits the fan.

For eBay to do anything, the proper process needs to be followed and in the time limit they give

Buyers have all the protection in the world if they do

And especially when PayPal give six months
