I just wonder if its just happened to my account or eBay removed the Online chat support for All Australian users. The WORST idea is to cut online chat support, if they need to fire someone it should be their phone service center who knows nothing, un-fckn believable

I was on online chat not that long ago with no issues.
I'm wondering if the option disappears when it's out of business hours? I don't know - just a thought if you were trying to contact them in the evening.
The CS chat reps are the same calibre as the phone reps - low paid workers in developing countries who have zero experience in actually being a seller or a buyer on the platform.
This forum has waaaaay more knowledge than the reps - perhaps post your issue here?

Yep... and it's easy to start a chat... currently a 1 minute wait time.
It's always pilot error that causes OP's to rant & rave about a non issue.

Online chat seems to be available, exactly as normal, approx 10 second log in with a 1 minute wait.

There's the issue. You haven't chosen a real topic.
Try 'Selling', or 'Buying', or anything that give a chat option.

Why are us deaf members being discriminated against? I'm 100% deaf and i now have no way to contact eBay in regards to help, does anyone know how i can contact eBay to make an official complaint? Thank you.

I am not sure, what happened when you tried to use 'Chat' (which is an agent typing on the screen, from a script in response to what you have typed (under eBay Help at the top of every page
Was it during their operating hours when you tried?
Do you need assistance with something that fellow members who have experience using eBay and know the policies can help you with?

Hi, thanks, yes i've been trying now at all different hour of the day for the past few weeks.
I'm chatting with eBay thru facebook atm, they claim all is ok.
They asked me to clear cookies and cache, which i have no done, i still do not have the option of Chat with agent.
