Getting a refund after return window has closed? Seller isn't communicating, Live Chat is useless

I ordered a head unit in July that the seller promised would work with my car's specific model, however they sent the wrong wiring kit, meaning I can't connect it to my car. I tried contacting the seller for a replacement, however they stopped responding after the return window closed in August. Attempting to file for a return or refund doesn't work, as the item doesn't appear in the Item Picker, and the AI chatbot is completely useless - telling me to file for a return through the item page (which I stated I can't do) or to reach out to the seller (even when I've made it clear they aren't responding). I can't even ask to speak to a real agent, as it just tells me I can't since I haven't ordered anything in the last 90 days.  Is there anything I can do here?

Not through eBay no, the time limit is the time limit

If what you were sent is not what was ordered, you needed to open an item not as described dispute and follow through with it within 30 days

Had you opened a dispute, you would have gotten your money back

You do not need to wait for the seller to respond to open a dispute

No point speaking to an agent, they will not open a dispute for you after all this time

You could try a dispute through PayPal if you paid that way or a bank charge back as your last resort

And to avoid such issues, check feedback before you buy, many of the sellers you choose to buy from have terrible, terrible feedback

Avoid buying from such scammers, or, at the very least, don't mess around with anything other than opening and following through with disputes where needed
