How do I report an ad with a misleading price advertised?

Hi All

I am seeing advertisments that come up with the lowest price with regards to an item.

Upon clicking on it there is a drop down menu for the items listed.

The pricing is then shown as a range of prices from $ to $$.

None of the items is priced at the original price listed.

When you click on the lowest priced item the price is higher than the original listed price.

How can this be possible as it is misleading?

Unfortunately Ebay has made it harder to access customer service and report such matters.

I am slowly returning to traditional shopping and moving away from Ebay as a result.

Every listing has a facility to report it but variation listings are not illegal.

The advertised price is not relevant to any items on sale. When you choose the cheapest option the price is above the advertised price.

Is the advertised priced item showing as sold out/out of stock/greyed out?

As mentioned, there is a report buttong on every listing

And a 'help' tab at the top and bottom of every page to contact eBay

There is no greyed out option regarding items sold out.
I will look at the "help" option thanks.

Top and bottom of each page, last option up the top before the gap and second last at the bottom

You may need to 'Live Chat' with more than one rep if the first one is not helpful

It can be very hot and miss at times, depending on your luck
