Paid by bank transfer which included $28 for registered post, but I can't follow up with Aust Post because seller wont answer my requests for tracking no etc. Anything else I can try?
There is little you can do to get your money back, you could report the seller to online fraud, or the Police, provide the sellers bank details so they have a better chance of tracking them down, but again, that won`t ensure a happy result for yourself.
Try one last message, advise the seller that unless the item is received with xx days or a full refund you will be proceeding to report them to the authorities, look up the BSB number to see where their bank is located, they may not live far from the branch, then mention the local Police in that area. Tell them you have spoken to them and will pass on all relevant information if you do not get results. It is a bluff, but it may be enough to get some action.
I know it is too late now, but never pay money into a strangers account. use paypal for purchases, then when something like this happens, you and your money are protected.
