If a customer requests that I issue an invoice for 5 items can I do this or they they have to create from their end.

The customer bought and paid for 1 item but wanted 6 of the same. They want me to create an invoice from my end and revise postage, I thought that the customer had to create this request from their end. I have been online to Ebay but it hasn't resolved the problem. The customer doesn't know how to do it from their end.

Not having ever bought myself in this manner I'm confused. I have many customers request a quantity and send me a purchase request that I amend the postage which I have done.

The buyer has to actually purchase the 6 items from you to start with in order for you to be able to send them a combined invoice with I presume discounted postage.

Refund their payment & tell them to buy the 6 items & then request the total.
