If someone clicks on my user name they can see all my recent and past purchases and sold items. Is there a way to 'hide' this for privacy?

You can make your feedback private, then nobody can see immediately what you have purchased,  but you can`t sell with private feedback, which is why it is a good idea to have two IDs, one for buying and one for selling.
