I bought an item with a seller and it never was delivered.
I opened a case and seller confirmed with me that they would refund me the money, once I closed the case.
I took them at their word, close the case and now 6 weeks later they have not refunded my money.
I have tried to re-open the case but it will not let me.
HELP, where do I go from her
Never close a case until you have the refund.
If you had escalated it, eBay would have forced the seller to refund, and given them a violation as well.
You cannot reopen cases, as you have found.
If you paid with Paypal, try opening a dispute with them. Pay attention to the requirements of such a case, like timeframes and required actions. Also be aware that Paypal only requires the seller to provide proof of posting, not delivery.
You cannot re-open a case once you close it
NEVER take a seller at their word they will 're-send' something or 'refund' your money once you close a case against them
Buyers do not need to close a case they have opened in order to get money refunded or an item re-sent, sellers saying otherwise is the oldest trick in the book
Especially more so if this was from the seller in China
How long ago did you buy and how did you pay?
