I bidded and won two $100 gift cards from an eBay seller. He is a new user with zero history. I thought it would be legit because it mentioned Paypal as the only source of payment.   Both gift cards had an auction end date 2 days apart. It's been 2 weeks now since they both ended and I still haven't received the items in the mail. I messaged the seller a few days ago and he said that "he will check tomorrow". The odd thing about this answer is that he is a new seller and he needs to check the next day if he mailed the gifts which should have been mailed out 1.5 weeks ago. Odd?   Well the next day came along and I hadn't got a response from him. I have messaged him twice asking for an update and if he doesn't have an update then I would like a refund. That was my last message.   I've just looked up at eBay's money back guarantee policy and it doesn't apply to my two purchases. **bleep**.   What do I do? I paid $160 in total for these gift cards. The above error codes appear  when I am trying to pay for multiple items with Paypal, very annoying. Please help if you can. Seller sent me an incorrect item, refused to acknowledge the error although I twice sent messages with photos of the item I got and the Item I should have got,  so I lodged a refund request. Ebay  (not seller) gave me a refund.   Because of lack of response from seller I left neg feedback.   Now I get a daily message from the seller asking me to change the feedback to positive. Perhaps they'll stop after a while, but it's been going for a week so it may be automated.   Is there any way to block a seller or report messages that become harrassing? ... View more

I have now bought two toner cartridges for my HP Laserjet 5 M printer, from different e-bay sellers, and  both appear to have no toner in them.  I found the best price on eay and there is considerable variation among sellers. They are advertised as new and genuine HP items.  Should I be assuming that all the cheaper ones are fake? I have received re-funds quickly and without any argument, which is good, but it makes me suspect that the sellers know that these items are crook. I have been looking to buy a leather jacket from a seller who has multiple sites with different prices for the same item.  The 'positive' feedback looks like it has been generated by the same person or people.  The comments are repeated almost word for word.  The same comments appear under another seller's name with the same feedback.  Everything is A++++++ and in poor English.  How to tell if it's a scam seller? ... Why was my dispute closed? I had kept in regular contact with them. Firstly their image change when I paid, then I still hadn't received ehwn I contacted them they said they would resend and if the other turned up not to sign for it and it would be sent back to them. They also wanted me to close the dispute before the would resend which I told them I would not until I received mt item. I then got an answer that they had they understood and they had resent the item that day and when I recieved it to then please close the dispute and leave them positive feedback. I agreed to do so when I received my item, I then waited for it to turn up which it did not. I again contacted them and they assured me it had been resent to be patient and give it more time which I did. Then you closed the dispute and I am still waiting for an item they assured had been resent. This has been going on since the 29th of April when I ordered and pain for with paypal. Obviously they had not sent the first or second the last message I sent was to request they either send or refund, I really think I had been far too patient and polite, andsurprise surprise I have not heard from them again, because you closed the dispute they probably think they can get away with not sending the item and keeping my money. I feel because you closed the dispute when it should not have been you are at part responsible. I would not myself close the dispute until I received my item and I had told them so. I am mad and disappointed at both REMOVED and you. I live in Australia..Too many times I see an item that I wish to purchase  that is in the US or the UK..... In the UK there is the option of surface mail.. "International Economy"...but unfortunately sellers refuse to go for this option..citing ebay policy..etc.... on the other side of the world, we have the US, who can charge  mind numbing fees (eg. a clothes peg to Australia for $100 !! ).. despite the fact that Ebay encourage us to report those who overcharge on postage. When selling, I try to send my item for the cheapest alternative I can find, and/or ask the person how they want it sent.. after all THEY ARE PAYING FOR THE POSTAGE ... NOT ME !!! I have come to the realisation that too many people make their profit thru postage.. and Ebay is helping them achieve this..  My argument is ,...If I am paying for the postage, then it is my choice as to how it is sent.. I have been trying for days to view my purchase history. I have even tried from different devices and using the App as well as the website. No luck with any of this. I have still bought a couple of items that I really wanted, however, if this continues I will NOT be buying as I won't be able to see what I have and haven't already bought (I buy a lot of items and I sometimes loose track).
