10 % off Offer is a scam

This 10% Off offer from eBay is a scam. I used it yesterday. The 10% were taken off on the nvoice but when I checked my PayPal account I realised the they took of the entire amount without the 10% off. This happened to us twice, We complained and Ebay says it's PayPal fault and PayPal says it eBays fault. This is a Rip-Off which should be reported. So everyone who uses this offer, please check your PayPal Account and check which amount was deducted at your PayPal Account.  I can't believe the nowone else realised this. Please don't let this Companies get away with scams like this. Spread the word

The code worked for me. I didn't think I was going to use it, then about 11pm I remembered that I had planned on buying my husbands Christmas present at some point.  Glad I remembered because $110 was a good saving! The saving meant I got the item a few bucks cheaper than the model below it. Win win! The seller got a sale, I got a good deal.

We're going practical gifts this year, like we did last. We're buying each other stuff we need, instead of just buying stuff for the sake of buying it. Last year he got a new Dyson as the old one was past its use by date. I got a new lawn mower. This year he's getting a home security CCTV set up.

We've been talking about getting one for ages, so I figured I may as well give it to him for Christmas. We decided after someone stole a parcel from my front door within seconds of it being dropped off by the delivery guy. I've dropped hints this year about a new electric frypan and a new baking dish. I hope he remembers.

You're just catching up with us oldies Tippy.....we have been doing that for many years. basically since the children were old enough not to believe that their gifts were from Santa.

For nearly 40 years we gave my mother a calendar...it was a special size that fitted in an odd space in the kitchen and she would have been devestated if I had not given it to her.  We gave her something else as well but I don't think she would have cared once she got her precious calendar.Smiley Wink

My mum is the same Lyndal. If she doesn't get a cat or horse calendar from me and a bag of Darrel Lea licorice from my sister, she's gutted! When my Nana was still alive, if she didn't get a box of Darrel Lea soft centres and a box of ginger, her Christmas was ruined. It's the little things that can really make someone's Christmas. People think you have to spend a fortune, but you don't.

We still do the stocking thing. I put things like chocolate coins in them (chocolate coins are a must in our house. If we didn't get them our Christmas would be ruined!). I'll also put other small things in there like jocks and socks, maybe a small box of chocolates or a bag of lollies.

I think Santa might have to bring us a new router this year. The current one is about 3 years old I think and has been switched on 24/7 since I bought it. It's had 2 direct lightning hits (well, not direct, but the surge protector boards it was plugged into exploded.....literally) and keeps dropping out. It needs to be restarted every day now, sometimes several times a day, so time for a new one I think. I should have looked at those last night before the 10% thing ended! Oh well.

A few places, like Dick Smith, have a 15% off from today if you click and collect, so might have a look there. It's no biggie if it's not instore before Christmas.

BAWAHAHAHA! But my tree's not dead, it's plastic! It is true though, we do sit in front of a "dead" tree and eat stuff from our "socks". Hee hee!
