$20 off voucher for Ebay App purchase not working

I received an email saying that if I make a purchase on the Ebay App I will get $20 off the purchase price.  When I go into the payment section and select the voucher an error message comes up and I the voucher is not applied.  The same error message comes up if I try and enter the code they provided "APPY20'.  Has anybody had any success applying this discount or are Ebay having some technical glitches.  Thanks very much for any help.

Did you spend the minimum $50 required?  I haven't read the other terms and conditions because I don't have a mobile phone so can't use it anyway.

Also just another glitch trying to use an app on an iphone.

I got same eBay email, bought an item for over $77, worked fine, got the $20 off at checkout.

just remember that the email address registered for your eBay account must be the same email used for the PayPal payment.
