I am neither agreeing nor disagreeing but I do think that some Australian sellers list their items too high. I think if they listed their items a little cheaper (while still making a profit) they could increase their sales and profit dramatically. This would lead to marginally more profit for Australia instead of buyers buying from other countries such as the US.
I have a few sellers that are in my blocked list as they overcharge for items in poor condition. I do not think this is acceptable and it also raises the price of items because of the price of the ''market''.
I am not ''tarring all sellers with the same brush'' as their are a lot of sellers who have cheap prices and don't overcharge, just the few on my list.

do you mean the prices they are listed at (and dont sell)
or
the prices they are selling for.
(in which case it is the collectors deciding what they are worth to them, if they are selling for what you consider 'out of hand' prices, maybe you need to collect something now that is not such a 'hot' item.

It is buyers who dictate the selling price, if a member thinks an item is too expensive then they shouldn't buy it, if somebody else is prepared to pay a lot more than you think it is worth then how is that the seller's fault?
AFL cards and records are an item that are entirely a personal choice to collect, it is not as if sellers are making a profit on something that is vital to sustain life.
