I was paying for postage at the AusPost website using PayPal and waiting
for the PayPal login screen but payment just happened.
I have NOT given AusPost permission. It just went ahead and paid itself out
of the last account I was using ( which was not the account I had intended to use ).
Has this happened to anyone else ?

Check your automatic payments in Paypal.
There are a couple of companies I buy from that have in their fine print that I am authorising future automatic payments when I pay using PP. As soon as I've purchased I go in to PP and stop the automatic payment so that I can sign in for the next transaction and therefore control which PP account I'm using.
It may not apply to AP but possibly worth checking

Only when I have left the automatic payment option ticked (as mentioned)
But that was not with AP so I can't say as far as that goes

I found 'Stay logged in for faster purchases' and found this 'one touch' thing was active.
I have never opted in to it but I have sure as heck opted out now.
Now to go to the other account.
The annoying part was PayPal's walkthrough mentioning areas that no longer exist ๐
Thanks kopenhagen5.

OK...now I am curious.
Now that I have opted out from this auto login thing
are my PayPal logins still being stored somewhere ???
It's not as if my logins were stored on my PC and accessed
when I opted in because I have never stored them except for
in my head.
