Hi All
I received a broken item(Mickey Figure) in November 2020.It came from the US and was shipped to Australia.
I created a report with Aust post and asked the seller to do the same with US post. I was strung along for a long time saying it was being taken care of and unfortunately due to some family issues have missed the Paypal deadline of 180 days by 5 days. This part is my fault for missing the deadline.
So now Paypal and Ebay cant help and the seller is still giving me the run around, saying the issue is resolved on her end and I will be getting a cheque etcetc and nothing happens. She also claims out of a $705usd sale she only received $350usd even though I specifically paid for shipping.
Anyway, any ideas on how to proceed next?? Legal proceedings would be hard but my close friend is a lawyer so that would not really be an issue for me if I went that way.
Cheers

Your only possible recourse now is if you paid by credit card through Paypal, then you could try a chargeback but I imagine you are past the cutoff date for even that.

I just wanted to suggest what padi suggested, but I have never done it and don't know if there is a deadline.

Different banks have different cutoff periods Papermoon, but there's very few that go past 6 months as far as I know.

The correct procedure normally is to ask for a refund immediately. Sellers are then compensated themselves according to this thread (I can see that your seller uses the GSP too):

Buyers though have to ask for a refund from the seller.
