Just wondering if I am allowed to name & shame a seller that has scammed me? It was an item that had a shipping ETA of 1 month. I contacted after 1 month when the deadline passed. They responded with "I'm sure it's on its way & delayed in customs but we shall resend please wait another month ". Long short is I was naive & unaware of the 45 day policy... if I have an issue I have to lodge within 45 days however as this was my first bad experience I didn't know & unfortunately gave the seller the benefit of the doubt. He continued to drag things out & assured me there was a delay in customs but would be with me soon. By the time I did lodge a complaint I was too late (ebay not interested & paypal didn't even respond). I am stubborn & feel robbed so continue to send emails to the seller with that same standard responses. Almost 5 months since purchase date clearly there is not hold up in customs & my item will never arrive. I have also looked at his feedback & there is a consistency here & I am not alone. He has many complaints of the same issue of "not received goods". I realise it was a lesson learnt & will probably never get my money back but at the least can I name & shame him so others people can be wary of this seller? Am I allowed to do this?

Wow. 2477 negs in 12 months! 178 in a month
Why is anybody buying from them?

Yup silly me... I do purchase quite frequently on ebay & did only glance at the 98% so again lesson learnt. I can understand how easy it is for people like me to not keep up to date with policies etc & don't realise the ins & outs until there's a problem & its too late. I therefore understand ebay won't do anything about my single issue but surely with so many people having the same issue of never receiving their items then they should be looked at more closely? Well my work here is done thanks to everyone for their help... I just wanted other people to be aware as I am someone who doesn't get taken easily by scams yet here I am! Easier to happen than you'd think. Thanks again!!

Don't think ebay will look at them. Their star ratings are 4.8 & 4.9
That's enough to keep 'em selling

They have pages & pages of BIN for $1, free postage.. how could that be worthwhile profit wise for any seller.?
on โ21-06-2014 11:46 PM
if postage is actually free, given the Government encourages exports, then $1 is probably quite a good return i8f the item cost 10c. I believe Chinese sellers don't attract any FVF.
So 90c profit is about a day's wages in some parts of China. it's all relative.

98% says it all. I wouldn't go near a high volume seller with less than 99.5% and even at that I would rate my chances of a satisfying outcome at 50%.

Thanks I shall keep that in mind in future ๐

Glad you are back posting on the boards EC20, it's good to see you haven't been too discouraged.
We really aren't bad people on here, honest, just some people see it as a good way to vent there anger towards others. Don't let the minority get to you.

LOL! That's the crazy part... I posted this first & then got on the other one (regrettably). That's why I'm surprised that I got verbally attacked because the person who did it had read & commented here would have surely known my story & therefore wasn't "trying to cover my butt". Maybe I underestimated some intelligence or the connecting of the 2 there but who knows... either way I genuinely meant no harm or offence to anyone. I'm still in a little shock how that all happened eek! But thank you! You have def made me feel a lot better & don't worry I wouldn't assume everyone on here is like that just a shame my first time on & that happened. I will def think twice before getting involved again though & def read my comments before hitting the "post" button to ensure there is no confusion ๐ I need a big thumbs up to you emojicon right now
