Has anyone had any dealings with <removed>
I bought a new Android phone and the power supply literally blew up when I plugged it in.
Their listing showed they would supply an AU (Australian) power supply, but they supplied an internation one, with an Australian adapter, which blew up when I plugged it in.
I requested that they replace the entire package, or issue a full refund, but they are only willing to replace the power supply.
I have no idea what damage has been done to the phone, but they are refusing to replace the entire package, including the phone, and will only replace the power supply that blew up, with potentially another very dangerous power supply.
This is my first transaction with <removed>, so I'm just interested to hear feedback from others who may have dealt with them.

Did you look at their feedback? I wouldn't have bought anything from them, especially not a mobile phone.
If any part of the item was faulty then you can open a Paypal item not as described dispute and should be able to get your money back although you will have to pay for return postage with appropriate tracking to cover you for Paypal.
If you didn't use Paypal but paid by bank deposit you may have to go through Fair Trade as it looks like they are a registered company.

Thanks for your feedback.
I will have to take this up with Fair Trading as I paid for it with my AMEX....I will also try and take it up with AMEX.

Did you buy from an Australian eBay member? Was the item sold from and located in Australia?
If it was being delivered from outside Australia - you were the importer and there is no protection under Australia's Fair Trading and or Consumer Protection Laws and/or Legislation.
You were responsible for the phone, and the charger, and the adapter plug, complying with Australian Electrical Safety Standards and Legislation.
Perhaps try a 'chargeback' via AmEx?

According to Ebay the company, is based in Brisbane, and the postage was local, not international.
