Why is eBay using Asendia? Seems like snail mail delivery. Must be cheap. Not a happy camper.

eBay’s not using them, the seller is…..I’ve never heard of them (had to Google)

The seller is using whoever they use, not eBay

Never heard of them either

If it is past the estimated delivery date shown before your purchased, open an item not received dispute

Did the seller have a different means of shipping listed and used Asendia instead who/what ?

They "may" use Aramex on the last leg of delivery

It seems  your feelings are shared  everywhere I've looked. Very poor service and reviews.

Here's a recent one:

"Why does Ebay USA use this completely unprofessional and unreliable postage service?

"I am absolutely furious with Ebay as well because as buyers we have no choice what pathetic postal service they use. Yet Ebay USA charge the most ridiculously outrageous postal prices to Australia. I am not going to buy now from Ebay in the USA and have things shipped to Australia because they use such pathetic and unreliable delivery services such as Assendia. Why should we pay these exorbitant amounts in postage when they use such **bleep** companies like this? I bet Ebay pocket so much money from shipping costs from international buyers. They have lost me as a customer now.

As for Assendia, they are hopeless"

Not true at all, sellers do not choose to send items to Ascendia. This is something ebay has put into place. Once it arrives to an Ascendia location, ebay is in charge of the shipping after that.
