I have tried to find the right dining set for several months ( need it so I can relist my house for sale). Today I waited , watching the perfect set that I placed a bid on yesterday & put my One Click Bid in during the last 25 seconds. I received a mesage from eBay saying the amount had to be higher that the current bid, which it was by $120! I bid again, & again the bid didn't register. The winning bidder won the item on $50 less than the bid I repeatedly tried to lodge. I reported it to eBay & all they said was that my last registerred bid was yesterday & I must've enterred the wrong amount. I have replied again telling them again that I bid twice with plenty of time & it is either a glitch in eBays system or buyers are still using some sort of programs to knock others out.
This has happened to me a few times & I fobbed it off but this time I'm p'd. Has anyone else had this happen? Both the buyer & seller lose out when this happens. In this case the seller coulld have got another 30% on their item!
