You should have a block sales type addon. that when you have purchased a faulty product . That product can be block from the whole site from user. As this has happened to me. I would like to see this implemented.

Is it the Chinese seller you left the neg for ? I do hope you have opened a case with eBay's Money Back Guarantee over it, if you have, DO NOT close it until you are completely happy with the outcome. A lot of shonky sellers will say they can only refund you if you close the dispute - LIES. I will almost guarantee they will also attempt to get you to remove that feedback as well.
eBay will not take down a seller for 1 neg - especially as it's a Chinese seller.

Other members cannot implement such a thing for you
You can contact eBay with your wish, but I don't see them doing such a thing
Or why you would need to do anything but scroll straight past the same product while browsing

And especially avoid buying such an item from a seller in China
Yikes

Surely you are not serious ?
So any competitor could buy an item then block....................................Pfffft.
Firstly, eBay doesn't read here.
Secondly, your suggestion is ridiculous.
Thirdly, like many on eBay, you have not made yourself avail to the procedures already in place for these scenarios.
I suggest, not only to you OP, but all other eBayers whom haven't read the instructions.....................
......................Read the instructions.

What a ..........................Suggestion. I can think of a lot of words to fill that space, none of them very flattering, or supportive.
Why stop at banning such an item from sale on ebay, I mean if one highly intelligent ebay buyer believes or claims an item is faulty, ban all such items from sale worldwide, throw the manufacturers and distributors in gaol/jail for life, seize and sell all their assets with the proceeds to compensate said ebay buyer.

Just wondering if your faulty product, has a plastic tab, acting as an isolator between the battery and battery terminals

It probably does -they all do these days.
And solar lights need to be charged - after removing this tab
The item that the OP bought has had favourable and positive feedback given.
Actually, the seller has excellent feedback.
