If a seller blocks you from bidding on one of their items what is usually the reason! Thanks.
Michelle, my guess is that the seller has either read these forums and doesn't need the headache of all your dramas, or they know that selling food items to Australia is fraught with problems so have blocked Australian buyers so as not to lose grain and dairy items to our strict quarantine laws. I know I wouldn't be happy my items being lost to customs or quarantine. I like the items I sell and it would be heartbreaking to know they had been destroyed due to a country's strict laws. Plenty of US sellers know there are a lot of things they can't post to Australia.
Have you bought from this seller before? Or does their postage say "doesn't post to Australia", but as you are a law unto yourself, think you can purchase from anyone, anywhere, regardless of a seller's preferences?
I don't believe for a minute you have been blocked due to unpaid items. I truly believe you always pay for the items you buy. I think it's more likely that they don't post to Australia, or they have read these forums.

I was blocked from a seller because I had a return, he packaged the item badly and the item arrived with dented corners not in the condition I purchased it, not always Australia posts fault. I had made many purchases with this seller and had no problems. But that's ok he has missed out on a lot of sales through blocking me. I was also blocked for asking all the right questions then got told to look elsewhere and they blocked me.
Sadly on this site there are excellent sellers/buyers and then there are those that need to clean up their act.

Y'know, Bear, your post says 'last edited.....'
But OP is magic. She can edit without leaving a trace, and now your post looks
like you have a sixth sense.

This is the most disappointed I have ever been on these forums in all the years of posting here.
Post #4 has an unwarranted and unsubstantiated dig at the mental health of a seller due to choosing not to sell to the OP, and remains in all its glory, and yet...
I fear I can not post something that had the potential to enlighten and change the behaviour that caused this supposed "meltdown".
I feel gross just for unknowingly having partipated in what turned out to be a mockery of a thread.

you are not seeing it as it is....removed responses.....I'm with you....totally disappointed

I would imagine the most usual blocks are NPBs and addresses the seller does not post to.
Of course it could be something as simple as they read the boards!
