The only categories that are exempt from offering Paypal are motors, boats & I think real estate.
All other sellers must offer & accept either Paypal,Paymate or a merchant credit card facility. If they are stating in the listing they refuse Paypal, report to ebay using the Report option just near the item number.

Is it an overseas item?
Some overseas ebay sites do not have mandatory paypal.
Also, even Aussie sellers can have Paymate or Merchant Credit Card Facilities as options instead of paypal.

No its not an OS item. Item is in Country Vic. There are no other options for payment except Direct Deposit or Cash on Pick up.

Oh well if it's a pickup only item then cash on pickup would be the only correct payment option.

Its not 'Pick up only' though, they also state postage aswell but if its postage its Direct Deposit only.

If it is a Pick Up Only item you would be mad to even want to pay with paypal. The seller obviously knows that neither of you has Protection through paypal.

Its not a Pick Up only item, I would be quite happy to pay cash if I was picking up but there are postage options (which I would have to do) also but with only a Direct Deposit option only and they quite clearly state 'NO Paypal'
