Can EBAY please get rid of the pop up ads by Video Dimmer!!!! Very annoying and distracting when trying to read about or bid on items. Every time I close the ads they pop back up over the item in about 10 secs; no matter how many times I close the ad !!!

I would highly doubt this is an eBay issue. You may have a virus if they are popping up so quickly, so I would make sure all your virus and antimalware programs are up to date with the latest definitions and run them all with no other programs running.

Other possible solution is to stop using Internet Explorer and download either Google Chrome or Firefox and install adblock plus. That will take care of ANY ads on any page. These days I forget that most pages are flooded with so many ads because I never see them.

As sheep has said, you need to activate your own adcblocker, this is not a site issue but a PC issue.

Turn on pop blocker on the browser.

Clear cookies and temp internet files and restart the computer.

If they still appear you probably have an adware virus and will need to restore your comp to an earlier point if you don't have anti-virus software to rid of it.
