I have a custom watch list which I use to archive completed auctions of one specific item.
Since the drongos who are paid to "improve our Ebay experience" have had their most recent episode of chronic stupidity, I can not add ANYTHING to that list.
In my main summary page there is nothing to click on to "add to list" except "watch this item".
I can add things to my main watch list as usual, but can't add them to my custom watch list.
I can click on my custom list and everything I have put there is still there, but no way to add anything else.
I have tried to add both active & finished items, but it is just not possible.
I will be very happy if someone can show me that I am the stupid one and am not seeing some method that is hiding on the page.
I am using Firefox.
Thanks all,

I just checked current watch list items and completed items that I've bought and still have the option of both to add to one of my custom lists. I just click on the little drop down under the price and they're all there, including the option of creating a new list. I use Chrome.

Thanks very much sheeps,
Duhhhhh,
It appears that I must be a dill then...
Have looked everywhere and did not see that little box at all (must be male pattern blindness according to my wonderful wife).

So you found the little dropdown box in the listings and if so, did it work? Sometimes it's easy to miss things when you aren't looking for them. I'm good at that! I can be staring straight at something and not see it. My husband tells me it's female middle aged madness!

Your personal named lists will come and go.
Just at present the only way to be sure of using your personalised klists is to put the items on your Watch list then log into the US site and go to your watch list and change each item to the list you want it on.
It is time consuming but at least it works for now.

I never knew you could even do it from the watch list! The odd time I use the named lists, I've always just added them from the listing. Instead of adding to the watch list, I add it to XYZ list. I don't tend to use them much any more anyway. I used to use them when I kept filling my watch list up, but I'm not buying or watching anywhere near what I used to, so not filling the watch list up that often. It probably wouldn't bother me now if they disappeared.

When you log into the US site your Watch list comes up with the drop down box to put the items onto you own named lists. At present the drop down box is missing from the Aussie site.
On the US site I just remove the item from my watch list and then put it onto the particular list that is appropriate.
I love the named lists.....at one stage I had the full complement of items on every list as well as every available list in use. A total of 200 items on each of 50 lists. lol.

Hi, I'm having the same problem, but I don't have a drop down under the price.

I have had the same problem countless times. Yesterday, only the WATCH button was available - no drop down list of my custom named lists, so added everything to watch list and today, the Drop Down List is available, so have gone through watch list & removed from watch and added to my custom named lists. But it seems you can no longer do this in bulk. You used to be able to click the box for all items you wanted to add to say List A, then add in bulk & delete from Watch list - not anymore - had to do it one by one -
Yet another great improvement !! NOT !!

Oh Joy!
I may not be as big a stoopid as I thunked I was.
Since last night, my drop down "add to list" box is not there any more, so possibly it wasn't there at the time I made the original post...
Thank goodness I can rely on Ebay to be consistently stuffing up.
