I bought a phone recently on ebay where the seller mentioned in the listing that it is in Australia. I order it because of Aus stock and that that it will mean quick delivery. Turns out after 4 days of constantly contacting the seller and asking him where it is and why it is taking so long, he finally spits out the tracking number. I lookup the tracking number and not to my surprise it is in Hong Kong on its way here.
I don't want it anymore as I do not want an overseas stock. I could have gotten it way cheaper if I got it from overseas but I paid more for Aus stock. Also, it will make my repairing services due to warranty much harder as I may have to ship it out internationally. How can I escalate the matter and get a fulll refund?

You may wish to report the listing to ebay. They may do something about it (more likely if you ring rather than do it online)
You can't get a refund because you can purchase the item cheaper from another seller, but you can certainly point out in the feedback you leave that the item is not located where they state.

I'm not sure if the item has been revised since you purchased but it does actually say:
Charger: International Charger with AU Adapter Origin: During peak time,it may be shipped from HK direct

The charger part maybe was there before. The origin has defnitiley been revised as I read the whole item before purchasing.

I think if you go to your purchase history you can see the item as you purchased it (ie before any revisions).
Might be an idea to check.

To add, warranties are very rarely applicable to items bought on eBay unless from a registered supplier of the goods in Australia, in this case despite what the seller says you are unlikely to have any warranty for it at all.
Also if the phone needed to be returned to Hong Kong for repairs you would need to use a specialist (read expensive) courier as AP will not allow phones with lithium batteries to be posted by airmail.
Most members replying here would advise buying most electronic goods from a Bricks and Mortar store here in Australia where you will have a real warranty to fall back on if needed.
