Is there any way to check a sellers case history? I think the seller was trying to get out of a .99c sale and put a case up against me.
scenario as follows;
Auction ended about noon last Sunday 5th - I won .99c plus postage
I didn't log into my PC until Tuesday morning saw I had won then went to pay, but then saw the open case.
The case said the seller wanted to cancel as the "buyer was non responsive"
big issue here is - I never had an invoice or an email of any kind from the seller - so that was a bit of a shock to see. Nothing in my ebay messages at all and nothing direct to my inbox - double checked everything, just in case I did miss something important.
I immediately wrote to the seller and was polite saying there must have been a mistake, happy if she wants to cancel but remove the "unresponsive buyer' reason as I never recieved any correspondence from her.
She replied she had sent emails and that as I had not replied then she opened the case - blamed it on "technology"
The other issue here too is that she didn't wait very long, crikey 1.5 days sorry if I didn't pay in the 1st minute of the end of the auction! her listing did not stipulate any payment time frame. She didn't wait very long to open the case either it was opened on the Monday night.
My past history is emaculate ... Sorry I am venting here too ...
I decllined to cancel the sale and I paid the item straight away and she posted it - it was left nice and happy and pollite etc, situation resolved happily on both sides but I am supicous.
So I was just curious if you could check if they had opened other cases where they claimed that the seller did this or that only because they got .99c for a sale price.
thanks!

Thanks I did have a look but nothing stands out - I myself wil just give her positive feedback when my item arrives. I wouldn't want to state anything if its not true - I am really just curious 🙂

no no it wasn't an unpaid item case it was a request to cancel the sale

sorry and it was only 1.5days so they can't have raised an unpaid item case anyway
