Hello lovelies
Just had a seller advise that they cannot combine invoices using iphone. He/She is requesting I pay the total and they refund me the difference in cost. They are a relatively inexperienced seller and I don't have an issue following their suggestion apart from it is not advisable.
Cheers and thanx for your assistance in advance.

Yes Iphone app does not allow you to send a combined invoice. If you pay the full amount by paypal, it is easy for the seller to refund the difference. I do it often. Just remember to hold onto your feedback until the items safely arrive and the refund is received.
Alternatively ask the seller to send a revised invoice once he/she is next at a proper computer.

Thanx so much for your fast reply. Gosh Iphones are pretty useless!
Yes I will do that. I do have the promise of a discount via ebay mail system though so that is almost as good as a warranty.
Cheers for your fast response.

They're useful if you use them as their intended purpose, which is a phone not a PC

It can be done. If you are using the app, go to the bottom of the page and there are a couple of links. One of them is "Classic site", click on that and it will (should) work exactly the same as if it were a PC only smaller. hehe

Sorry but I find their excuse totally unexeptable.
If they don't know how to use an iphone correctly to be fully functional then they shouldn't use one.
No way would I overpay and rely on a numpty to refund me.
I would tell them they have 24 hours to work out how to send a revised invoice or I will be leaving neg feedback and reporting them for seller non performance.

I'd tell them this - it takes just as much time to educate than it does to threaten with an ultimatum/neg, and one will have a much better result for everyone.
Telling or showing people things they don't know is always the better option. ๐

freightcar I think if you hang around here long enough you will see that phorum spends a lot of time helping people with their ebay problems and as a seller is very good to deal with.

If the iPhone app is anything like the Android app, it is effectively useless.
I would question why the seller can't find a real computer. That's what I do. I will, occasionally, go to the classic (real) site, but it's a PITA to use a full computer screen on a phone, and the mouse hover dropdowns don't work that well without a mouse.
Maybe the app makers should have a think about what needs to be provided.
Until then, advise your seller to get themselves to a computer, not a phone.

Fair enough... I am hardly perfect, though some times I think I am :^O
Just seems a little harsh some of his comments
