Customs delay again!!!

I had some pet treats from the UK from a seller I buy a lot off. Its was sent via the Toll couriers in Australia so it was rather quick. It had a tracking number and I checked on Friday and it says in Melbourne 6.02am then at 6.28 transferred for quarantine inspection. I rang Toll couriers and they said I would have to wait til Monday morning to see if its been cleared. Never had this problem with food product from the UK. If the food packaging has somehow come open in transit and spoiled fair enough but I know this seller packs product well and are reliable, I had the same product sent to me a few weeks ago no problem.
Cos if it doesnt clear customs then I lose around $26.00.

Now now sheepie, you get on your pushbike and get it to poor Michelle otherwise I'll be having a lamb roast on sunday, monday and tuesday, then I'll get stuck into your chooks.

Wonder if I should get Stalks to do the cooking.................then again perhaps not, too risky..................

You could try and eat my chooks, but it may be a tad difficult since I don't have any new ones since the fox killed all mine. As for the sheep, I've always wondered if I cut their back legs off and then hook them up to one of those wheely walker things you can get for crippled dogs so they can still get around, whether they'd grown back. Would be good if they did because then I could have a lamb roast every few months.

Ooookay forgot about that, feeling sorry for you now so I'll load the Trebuchet up with a motorised chook-pen complete with carnivorous fox-hunting chooks.

Re: Customs delay again!!!

Still waiting on any update on the parcel. Its still stuck in Melbourne. I have spoken with Toll but they tell you so much b...s...that I'm wasting my time and money. One staff member suggested I send a Paypal receipt to them(because they said no description on parcel)so stupid me faxes a Paypal receipt at cost of $3.50 to them yesterday and I fell for it. Look if they dont want to help can they just tell you straight out. I dont know but I have an awful feeling this parcel aint gonna be delivered.

Michelle, apart from my off-topic bits with sheepie and Stalks (and the funny bits...!) , hang in there and hopefully it'll all turn out ok for you.  original.gif

Re: Customs delay again!!!

Oh Michelle.....stop hitting the panic button please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When a parcel is stopped by Customs it usually adds at least 10 days to the delivery times.....it has only been 4 days so far.

Why do you think Toll is telling you b....s?   They are actually trying to help you.  If the parcel has no description on the Customs declaration the easiest way is to produce the invoice for the item.

I must admit the staff member who suggested that you are wasting your time and money has probably hit the nail on the head...is the parcel really worth an extra $3.50 on top of what you have already paid?
