Not sure if it's permitted to mention eBay user names here.

Could someone please let me know and then I can present details.

TIA;-)

No you cannot name a seller or give an item number but you can give the exact title of one of their listings and then people should be able to find them.

What makes you think they are dodgy so we know what we are looking for?

Yes, a trifle suss. The sellers address is interesting. It is a very upmarket suburb of Perth - also the location of the University (UWA) Maybe a bit of extracurricular activity?.;-)

newly joined,0 feedback, three day listings are all tactics used by scammers.

Buyers think they can get a good deal as the seller doesn't know what they are doing because  they are  listing at low prices for sought after items.

Reported,:-D

Genuine sellers will use longer listing times to get more interest and higher prices.

Scammers list for shorter periods to try and con more members for quick turnover before their listings disappear,X-(

Then they also have the added benefit of contact details so that they can send phishing Emails or add the member to spammer lists.

Irrespective of that, how does such a buyer pull off a scam if the buyer pays by Paypal?

Any money is a bonus. They are mainly after contact details, to use and sell to other phishers/scammers

Seems I've done the wrong thing by listing the exact title of one of the dodgy items.

My post has been removed and I've been slapped - :_|

Recently we became aware that your eBay registered account was involved in the following activity which is not permitted at eBay:

14: Posting item listing reports or member violations. To report suspected violations, please use our online forms: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/contact_inline/index.html

I did report the sellers listings on Sunday but eBay, apparently, can do nothing. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

By my reckoning that seller has so far scammed $1000,
