When is ebay going to do something about these people listing items as if they were in Australia when they clearly are not.
I am sick and tired of coming across items that apparently are located in sydney or darwin yet take 3 weeks to get to anywhere in australia by a courier. eg fastway or couriers please.
It is quite obvious items are being shipped out from china and repackaged on arrival, in what ever location, then shipped out again. Or labels stuck over the original customs labels to try hide the fact.
I am fed up with it and I am having a hard time finding items which are actually stocked in australia.

I must be more fortunate than you.
Every item in my watch list shows me the Estimated Delivery Date & so I do not bid/buy if I don't like the EDD.
eBay also provides me with the ability to scan the feedback of a seller for country of registration & any negs.
I have no problem finding items located in Australia.

If the estimated due dates are more than a week or two, the sellers are most likely lying about the item being in Australia. Don't buy from them, skip onto the next ad.
I find most of my items are estimated to arrive within 7-10 days and sometimes a lot sooner. So far, I haven't found it a big problem to find items located in Australia but have come across the occasional, obvious liars.
But that doesn't answer your question about what is ebay going to do about it. So far, not much & you're not the only person it annoys.

When it shows a seller is registered in China/Hong Kong/wherever and they have dozens of neg feedback that says the items were sent from there or not sent at all then that is the risk buyers take in buying from them anyway
eBay certainly are'nt going to do anything and these sellers are able to keep on keeping on because buyers insist on buying from them
