I was lead to understand that a seller drop shipping via Amazon was in breach of Ebay's Third party fulfilment policy.
"We don't allow third-party fulfilment if it could be confusing or misleading for the buyer (for example, because the packaging used makes it appear that their item was purchased from another retailer or marketplace instead of on eBay), or if the buyer's personal data is not sufficiently protected."
Items were purchased with no indication at time that they would be bought off Amazon and delivered by Amazon. An initial tracking link to some obscure shipping company didn't work. After messaging seller the same tracking number was provided with a link to VDTrack. That link showed label created on date of purchase with no update after that (10 days after purchase).
Item eventually arrived in an Amazon box and delivered by my regular Amazon driver. I could have saved time and money by buying the items direct from Amazon myself.
A complaint to Ebay was rejected with the AI bot deeming the seller hasn't contravened Ebay's Third Party fulfilment policy when a year old can clearly see that they have.
Misleading behaviour on part of the seller and no useful assistance provided by Ebay.

"When any seller reaches something like 19% feedback rating, that seller should have long since been kicked off ebay"
That seller is now down to 17.8% with 193 negs in the last year ....but it's now been going on for over a year.
While I question the mentality of buyers still purchasing in the last month, especially a buyer with 1011 feedback who writes
"I honestly think it's a scam" .....
It's an absolute disgrace that after a huge amount reports for over a year,
and eBay fully aware as shown in the feedback re. refunds , the seller is still registered with 48, 960 items listed

They think it's a scam
Wow
I can't see any thinking on their part
Can only hope that they think about opening a dispute

I'll also add a very important problem.
I report a very high number of high priced fraudulent listings for non existent items and have done for many, many years
Needless to say many of these are listed by 0 feedback Chinese Scammers
I never receive a 'bot' reply.
Recently the outcome of these reports has been, in a very short amount of time eg 10 minutes, negative feedback has been removed and the scammers , not eBay, have ended their listings.
Aiding and abetting fraud !

We've even had them many times post here on the forum, scammers wanting to know how they can 'increase sales'
All of them, perfectly fine to stay on here, too
Totally obvious what they are doing
As are the ones pretending to be 'eBay experts'
Just fine

100% eBay *should* can these scammers, just like they used to do a few years back
But buyers always have the option to care, to check feedback before they buy and not choose to support a scammer like this where everything screams run a mile
21 negs and 21 neutrals in the past month alone and many many others before that
But people who don't care still expect eBay to care for them
It is very odd as I have twice this morning faced the 'not available in your location' page for that seller but then did manage to open up a list of their items. Maybe it is my computer, I don't know.
I agree, it would be a lot better if potential buyers checked things out just a little bit more carefully.
I think part of the problem might be that for those 'occasional' ebay buyers who do look at feedback, at first glance, they would see the positives first.
They would get a much better picture if they went into the classic view or bothered to have a proper look at just the negs.
I don't think buyer behaviour is going to change though. Just a pity ebay isn't more responsive to problems.

I got same message just after I put up my (negative) feedback.
