I bought lots of thing on ebay, but recently ebay doesn't care about the buyer issues such as return or cancellation.
I bought a new product and cancelled it immediately. A day after the cancellation request the seller messaged that its to late to cancel. I messaged them and the seller said he they are sorry and I can return after I receive the product. I received the product and it is such a rubbish quality for the price I paid ($84) for a dish rack. I didn't open the package completely to avoid any excuse from the seller for return. I requested a return and they said I must attach photos. They are refusing to accept the return. The package according to post track is delivered to me but the ebay shows still delivering to get more time for the seller.I asked ebay to step in but nothing happened yet. The platform designed to support the seller in all manners. This would be my last purchase if I don't see a help from ebay.

You ARE obviously joking
eBay only support the buyer
If the buyer chooses to do things they own way and not follow the proper procedures that is on them
You will get no help from eBay by posting here, they do not read the forum
And if you are going to make up nonsense, nobody else can help you
Buying from a dodgey seller in China for one
Not using all the tools available to buyers is another
But then to come out with a whooper like 'eBay supports the seller in all manners' is just the icing on the cake

You will have to justify why the seller must accept the return, and I do not think that the item not meeting your
expectations, is a satisfactory reason for return.
The listing does not indicate any guage or quality of SS used in the manufacture, the item does not claim to be manufactured to any standard and is unbranded.
So please advise, how the item does not match the listing.

Your post fascinates me. The seller is charged as soon as you hit the buy now button. Your Ebay life wont be long standing if you buy and try to cancel straight away. Sellers do not have to accept that. As has been said, you have many tools to use if there is a problem but you are choosing to do it all your way. Due diligence is something to be used prior to purchase.
Did you request the help from Ebay in the proper manner? If it is your last purchase Ebay will not even notice.

It sounds like they must be related to the other person who posted not long ago
I don't want to read listings properly
I don't want to open a dispute
I want a $1 item to be $100 dollar item quality
I don't want to pay the charges involved with buying from overseas
I don't want to communicate with the seller if an issue comes up
= eBay never treat buyers well

Just in case you come back...
Buyers can't cancel items, they can only request that the seller agree to cancel a purchase. Most people will expect that if a request is sent very soon after purchase, a cancellation can be done but this isn't always the case, especially if you are buying from a seller who has a post-sale process handled by multiple departments and a set time every day to read and respond to messages. For this reason, never rely on the ability to request to cancel an order to back out of a purchase.
That being said - why even open the package when you knew you wanted to return it?
You may be 100% genuine in this situation and maybe the product isn't something you'd want to keep even if you hadn't requested a cancellation, but if you can look at the timeline objectively for a moment and see how this could very well come across to the seller and eBay...
Buyer requests cancellation that isn't accommodated, but buyer is advised they can return the item after it's received
Buyer receives item that they don't want, opens it for some reason, then opens an INAD return request instead of a COM (change of mind) return request
This is the kind of thing buyers who feel the seller wronged them by not canceling do, and eBay actually don't tend to like it, in my experience - that may not be the case for you, just pointing out if your case doesn't go the way you want it to, that could be the reason why.

You know what the issue is we don't understand our responsibility and blame eBay, eBay as neutral party works on the basis of evidences. If the decision is not in our favor we start disputing and threaten customer service of filing case in ombudsman and ACC....lolz XD....my friends works there and he says that customers on eBay don't read terms and condition and file unnecessary complaints.
As s seller, I upload all tracking and act out all my responsibilities and safeguard myself from false claims of buyers.
As a buyer I file case within 30 days of delivery date if item is faulty and not delivered unlike buyers on eBay specifically of Australia, which come after 6 months and 3 months to complain about undelivered item, how fool we ourselves are. Even no shopping site provides moneyback protection o f30 days and paypal protection of 180 days.
I want people of Australia read my comment and stop requesting more than their pockets.

Your first problem is that you believe a buyer has an automatic right to have an item cancelled after purchase.
This is not the case on ebay (or on lots of other online sites).
Some sellers will cancel as a favour for those who have a change of mind but never take it for granted. Sellers do not have to do this. Your wish is not their command.
Your second problem is you expect that as you have been sent something you bought but no longer want, you have an automatic right to return it. This also is not so.
Given that it is a change of mind return and the seller at first said you could return it after receiving it, did you realise that you would be up for return postage costs?
A seller only has to pay for return postage if they are at fault in some way, eg sending the wrong item or if the item does not match the desscription.
So, you bought an item and the seller sent it and you received it. You don't like the item but that is a very different thing to saying it is not as described. What exactly do you expect ebay to do about it, since the actual transaction went exactly as they would expect?
When you're spending a fair bit on something and you're buying from overseas, I'd suggest really reading an ad carefully and peering at the photos in detail before you commit to buy because if you change your mind and even if a seller is one who accepts change of mind returns, postage to return it can be an expensive business.
