Ebay have made a payment with default

Ebay have gone and made a default payment without my consent when I asked a seller for an invoice for combined postage.

How the hell is ebay allowed to do this when I haven't paid yet?

I spoke to ebay regarding this issue and told CS that I asked the seller for an invoice but now it shows that I have paid when I didn't and of course they couldn't explain why this happened.

So I went and unmarked the payment and luckily it went back to not paid.

I don't know how ebay could do this it's just not right.

Are you sure you did not accidentally hit the button to say you had paid Crow?

Obviously ebay did not make a payment so why blame them for a very minor glitch?   I know you have good reason the blame ebay for everything but I think you are being unfair in this case.

OK the seller has got back to me saying they have combined postage discount and blatantly pointed it out to me that they have already done it and they said, haven't I already told you this?

Well saying it and doing it is entirely different,so I said that he needs to send an invoice and just by saying it, won't make it happen lol.

So ebay goes and stuffs up and now I am having difficulties with the seller,what a great way to start off today.

No lyndal I never hit any button,when I woke up and turned the PC on it showed as paid by default whatever that means.

And here's another doozi now items in my cart can't be removed because apparently I have committed to buy them,no I haven't committed to buying anything lol they're just in the cart and previously I could just click remove and they get removed but all of a sudden I can't remove lol.

Seems fishy ebay might be trying to drive me away by annoying me and making me go nuts lol.

Yes that's exactly it and I only put it in the cart I never clicked on any button to buy it.

So it's funny how now ebay thinks that people have committed to buy when we haven't lol.

Ebay's trying anything and everything to get a sale and collect those fees lol.

My items in my cart can stay in there until the end of time for all I care but I need to be careful cause ebay might make a payment by default on my behalf like they already tried too haha.

Crow, I put a preorder DVD in my cart many weeks ago and forgot about it when I had to stop buying for a few weeks.

After reading this I went to see what was happening.

It was the same as it has always been......there were actually 3 items in the cart with the Remove button on all of them.

I removed the 2 preorders with no problem and have left the 3rd item to see what happens in the future.  I am not planning to purchase immediately but if somehow ebay does make a payment I won't be too upset.
