Please explain why EBAY insists on writing a comment.
Further, why an automated answer appears on the screen in feedback. I find this sort of required answer and prompted automated answer mis-representative of reality.
If I choose to reply I will do so.
If a transaction proceeds smoothly there should be no need to comment, unless one of the parties (perhaps Ebay ) is insecure in their position.
Requiring a bull**bleep** answer is simply lying to all parties involved in the transaction.

This is what people are talking about. It only disappears after you start typing. It is the same for all positive fb you are trying to leave. I don't know, it is like they are asking people to lie - two other options, better than the picture, extra detail in packaging... ???

I think ebay should remove their feedback comments and let buyers/sellers write their own.
Let's get back to the traditional format which was so much user friendly.

Perhaps you missed mine and other members comments that with ONE keystroke the comment that eBay has put in vanishes.

Iโm about to leave feedback for a recent eBay purchase; no doubt Iโll see these suggested feedback comments thenโฆ and Iโll probably roll my eyes at that pre-filled material which truly looks like AI-generated content. What is it about such content that reads so poorly and falsely? Itโs awful!
For the OPโฆ if you typed simply a space or a mark out of 10 or the word โgoodโ or โadequateโ or โokayโ, my guess is that the AI-generated content will be gone like an offensive smell once the door is opened.

Yep. And certainly not worthy of umbrage. Nor of strings of keyboard rage. It seems to be hard for some people to actually add a comment to their rating of the experience. Maybe they have forgotten, maybe strings of keyboard is their grasp of English, maybe they don't understand online purchasing. I'd be hyperbolic if I claimed 30% of my buyers left feedback. More like 20% these days. No negs, but, so that is a (non-eBay) plus.

โฆ and I can now confirm that typing one little blank space makes the pre-filled default feedback comment vanish.
Problem fixed. No need for ร la recherche du commentaire perdu.

It looks like after leaving positive feedback we are now asked if there was a problem (and there is even a link to solve the problem). Shouldn't this only happen for negative or neutral feedback?
Also, clicking on "sold by" takes to a page with a new look. ๐

Perhaps illiteracy is a real problem with some buyers. And having a positive or a neutral comment is a way they can feel good about feedback. ๐ค
I find it a bit annoying but worked out don't give a positive and neutral at first and you won't have to see the prefilled comment. ๐

Can't you just ignore it & type over it.
