Ebay problem? Paypal problem? or seller problem?

Hi, I recently bought a goods from ebay, buy now and paid by paypal.

only 4 days I received the goods. However Ebay sent  email ask me to pay 10days later.

And again ebay sent another email 15 days later said because unpaid items I am become a restricted buyer.

This is unpleasant and rediculous.

Any one has same experience?

Thanks.

Ebay problem? Paypal problem? or seller problem?

It is paid immidiately by Paypal. The seller said it is automatic massage sent by ebay.

But Ebay never answer my complain.

I remember after I buy goods this time,  I receive the seller's advertisement email every day.

After I unsubscribe from them,7 days and 15 days later  I received  two email ask me to pay, and told me I am a restricted buyer.

This is unacceptable.  I do not know how should give feed back to the seller.

Until now ebay do not have any responding.

Do you have same experience?

I have received emails in the past-plenty of them-where at first glance they look to be from ebay and mention my account might be restricted, pay now etc.

In each case they are in my spam mail folder, not my inbox & I just delete them without reading them.

I have also had similar emails from "ANZ" bank and I don't even have an ANZ account.

These emails are not really from ebay or ANZ, they are trying to scam me.

I have serious doubts the emails you got were really from ebay. Have they directly quoted your last purchases or did they just make a general statement that you needed to pay for your recent purchases? Do NOT click on anything in those emails.

Ring ebay directly and speak to an ebay representative. Have all the details about the specific transactions in front of you-the item numbers, the amount you paid & the dates etc

You can go directly into your paypal account too, and check in there that the payment has gone through. If it has, you can be reasonably sure the emails you got were fake.

If the emails you got were not also in your ebay messages section, you can be reasonably sure the emails were fake.

Could the email be a private one, from this particular seller? If he has by accident sent emails demanding payment & mentioning restriction, be aware he cannot restrict all your buying on ebay, only ebay can issue strikes. The worst that could happen is this seller could block you. If he has an advertisement email though it sounds as if he is an experienced seller & he says the emails are not from him. I can't see any experienced seller sending off the goods unless payment had gone through.

One thing you can be sure of. Your account won't be totally restricted, even if the emails turned out to really be from ebay for any reason. As a buyer, if you have a couple of unpaid item disputes decided against you in a short time, what can happen is that particular seller can block you & some other sellers also block buyers with 2 or more strikes. But not all sellers do. I don't even know that most sellers do.

Just ring ebay and sort it out.

But do not pay anything extra at all if your payments have gone through.
