Ebay just removed feedback I left for car floor matts that I bought after telling the seller my car, the items are labelled as fitting my car, I asked for a return and the seller is insisting I keep trying to fit the floor matts which clearly do not fit, I've sent multiple photos and they came back telling me to fit them in the way I attempted for over 20 minutes. I am not sure how my feedback regarding this violates policies? I didn't order the wrong floor matts, they sent floor covers that are not made correctly! How do I get my feedback reinstated?

Yes I'm aware the car was very dirty when I was trying to install them, that wouldn't stop them fitting.

It's unlikely that eBay will reinstate it, but try the link below and scroll to the bottom for the "contact us" link.
Do that during business hours and ask to speak to a supervisor as soon as you can.

'I asked for a return'
But did you open an item not as described dispute ?
I would worry about that before showing other members all those photos of inside your car
Personally I would also find it more important to get my money back first
What is the item number?
What was the seller's feedback like prior to your purchase?
Where is the seller registered?
Was this the questionable seller in China who last left you feedback?

I filed a request return.

You don't.

You probably won't. I once had feedback removed and I was shocked too as I didn't think I had said anything that broke ebay policies.
However, feedback removal has nothing to do with winning a claim. I won my claim, no worries.
If you have opened a claim for faulty or not as described in the ad or sent the wrong item, whatever, I think you will win and the seller should have to issue a postal label (if they are in Australia) and pay for return postage.
That is a better revenge than feedback as it hits them in the hip pocket.
