Escalate to claim

Hi,

I was just wondering what happens when you escalate something to claim?  Do I just sit back now and wait for Pay Pals decision?

Cheers

Cindy

Yes, you are putting the dispute in paypal's hands when you escalate to a claim.

Just keep an eye on your emails as paypal will let you know what is happening and will ask for more information if they need it.

Yes you wait.

PayPal gives the seller a final chance to respond, then PayPal will advise if they need more info or when they have closed the case in either yours or sellers favour.

They will contact the seller and give them 10 days to respond. (If they don't - you win by default) Then they may ask you for additional information. It will then go to "review by PayPal" after which the decision will be reached.
