last April i purchased a Dyson battery for our cleaner, it was advertised witha 3 year warranty and it stopped working after 9 months, i have tried to contact the seller through the link in my purchases but do not receive any answers, what recourse do i have to claim on their warranty?

Seller in Hong Kong with horrid,horrid feedback
I'd say no chance the warranty is anything but a word on the listing
No surprises they are not replying
But also lucky the battery did not result in starting a fire

@sunshinejoy2014,
This is an issue that comes up again and again.
I'll link to my response to a previous similar question. My reply (in thread with title "Re: Seller not honoring 12 month guarantee")
I hope that helps put this into perspective and gives you the information to make an informed purchasing decision next time.

It is easy to sit back and preach the obvious, BUT -
(a) virtually any brand name product bought from China/HKG etc is going to be a knock off
(b) the pricing CAN be a good guide
(c) you generally get what you pay for
