Feedback ... should I warn future buyers???

Hi there,

I purchased an item that was described as brand new without tags.  Upon receipt, I found there were two dark stains, the stitching had come undone on both sleeves and it wasn't fully lined (also described in the listing).

I contacted the seller about these faults and they offered a refund upon return.  Fantastic.

I'd consider myself a reasonable person who understands we're human and mistakes can be made.

Then I noticed hand stitching on the sleeves - this item was clearly not purchased from a shop and never worn as stated.

I returned the top with a written explanation and received a refund that same day.  Excellent - I am happy.

However, on the same day of refund/return the item has been relisted as near new and attracting bids.

This has really bothered me as the faults are easily seen.

Should I mind my own business, leave positive feedback as even though disappointed, the outcome was acceptable?  Or should I warn potential buyers and leave neutral feedback?

OP, by the looks of things your warning f/back didn't work, sadly - and they may quite possibly end up with even more money than the first time around.

Shame, considering the considerable effort you went into trying to report the seller and warn all the other shoppers who don't seem to want to take any notice of the warning!

I am not surpised mind you - you can't imagine to how many people I told not to ever shop in a certain supermarket, but every time I drive past  - the car park is full.

I'll have to get the name of the Dry Cleaner... pristine condition!

Repairing those sleeves would challenge even the most competent dressmaker - the sleeve hem maybe....but restitching and replicating the rouching/crushed effect on the entire sleeve itself would almost be impossible.

Hopefully the new buyer has long arms.

Look at it this way, a few more buyers sending back for a refund and the seller will end up out of pocket anyway and deservedly so
