by the time you resolve a issue with the seller ..o seas or au..you run out of time... to leave feedback

It's been shown on other threads about this that the majority of members are happy with the way it is.
If you really want to do something about it then go to the "tell us what you think" link, maybe eBay will change it just for you and the few of the other members that are outraged about it.

That's not really true though.
You hve been on eBay long enough to know the time alotted, so you simply go to resolution at a time that allows you to still leave feedback. Not rocket science
60 days is 2 months, even if you waited a month, still plenty of time. Up to you if you let a seller string you along, not ebays fault

Leave a comment within the time frame even if the item has not arrived and then use the Followup function to leave an additional comment when the item does arrive.
Simple really.

That's actually quite incorrect padi*0409. The majority of members are not happy with things the way they are. In the last 2 years we've seen multiple threads about this. The state of the world today is one of the main factors.
The so-called majority are actually, basically the same group of members that have their opinions on certain matters and have a certain bias. What you said is not a representation of the wider eBay community nor the people that visit here.

Someone shouldn't have to resort to that lyndal1838. The fact that you have suggested this is a strong indication that the 2 months (60 DAYS) is not enough in a world that is now unstable. This does make valid case, yet another for a rrestoration to pre-May 2008 TTLFB of 90 days. We have had muliple threads about the time being too short irecently.

Agreed there have been quite a few threads - all from buyers. And I reiterate again as I have before, those buyers want to leave negs.
If an item arrives damaged/faulty/not as described or not at all - 30 - 45 days you open a dispute - win or lose you have AMPLE time to leave feedack.
The only way you will run out of time is if you let a seller string you along.
Seller's don't care one way or another, coz they don't get a chance to 'punish' a bad buyer.

That's actually incorrect. Only you and your clone, who started yet another thread about it (funny about that), and a few others have any issue with the timeframe.
As most buyers don't leave feedback, it is reasonable to infer that the majority of members aren't unhappy about it. Or care, even. You would have to provide actual proof that the majority of members, not just the ones who post on the boards, are unhappy to have even a snowball's chance of your theory being even close to the truth.
Discuss. With supporting FACTS.
