In excess of 75 million then ?
Exactly, to assume that the miniscule % of members who post here represent in anyway the millions of users always amuses me.
I checked, there have been 5 threads, ALL by buyers, and very few [other than buyers] have been on board with an increase in time for FB.
In addition, as 4chan states, it was changed in 2008 - things HAVE changed, transport and logisitics have forged ahead in the last 12 years, and regardless of COVID little has changed, it certainly has not regressed back to the standard of service it was in 2008 as 4chan would have us believe.

If you want something changed there is not much point continually complaining on these boards. You need to approach eBay about it and I wish you good luck with that. Personally I am both a buyer and a seller and if for some reason I can't give or receive feedback it comes under the category of Too Bad.
I don't see dvd.horder continually conplaining on these boards. He's just sharing an experience.

OK, as you see below. I was disagreeing with padi*0409. Because what he said wasn't correct.
LOL 75 million whatever *SIGH*

If you really want to do something about it then go to the "tell us what you think" link, maybe eBay will change it just for you and the few of the other members that are outraged about it.
Also it should be noted that the people disagreeing with the FB time issue are the same bunch. This is not a valid representation of the ebay.com.au community.

Firstly the name is 4channel, not 4chan and you've been told that in the past. Secondly the issue is not what I would have people believe. The issue is that regardless of whatever advancements have been made logistically in transport and postage etc., people are still having issues with not enough time to leave feedback and also negotiate with sellers when there are issues.
I have had items now arrive just a few days before and even after the 2 month cut off to leave FB. Others too have voiced their concerns about this.
It iss jnot a cardinal sin for a buyer to want betterment of a situation and have fair treatment.

Too lazy to type it in full, get over it, it's not like it is your real name. Funny it didn't bother you on another thread where I agreed with you, huh?
As to the rest, agree to disagree, ebay may change it, but me thinks not, and as stated by padi - suggesting to eBay would be more satisfying than complaining to us. CONTINUALLY [if your claim is to be beleived]

II must have missed that on the thread. Can't remember.
We'll see what happens.
And as far as padi is concerned, he knows some things. He's incorrect on other things.

Who is the alter ego of the OP davewil1964?
And this seems to be an issue because the OP, myself and about 4 or 5 other people have started threads about this within recent times.
4 or 5 other people? That is certainly a majority rules 4chan, out of millions of eBay members. I'm sure eBay will happily make changes for 4 or 5 people. Afterall, aren't they all about making the buyer happy?
You really need to stop living in the past. It's gone. Deal with it. EBay isn't going to change something because YOU want it. You seriously aren't that important, despite you thinking you are.

Not sure if you realize this but some items coming from overseas take between 5 weeks and over 6. This has happened to me 3 times. Also dvd.h ran out of time as well.
I suppose we could leave feedback after the first week and hope that the item arrives OK in the next 5. But that's probably not a good move I'd say.
5-6 weeks? Surely you jest? Oh the horror! The time to leave feedback is 8 weeks. Disgusting that something takes 5-6 weeks to arrive, and you dilly dally for several weeks until the time runs out to "reward a seller". Shame on you.
As a seller, my reward is getting paid, not be given some silly coloured dot on a screen, with a comment that means nothing, given they have given the same comment to every seller since they started buying. Sellers don't care about the dots.
My most successful selling account only has 28 feedback. It sells way more than the other higher feedback accounts. Most buyers don't leave feedback, and that is fine by me. I sell for money, not silly dots on a screen. Majority of sellers are the same.
