Fraudulent listing. Ebay informed, did nothing now they are back.

I reported these yesterday using the 'report' link. 111090143770 111090143482 111090144405 there were 6 of them in total. I usually bid on these myself when I see them to some ridiculous amount. However this time I did not bother and lo and behold they all sold. I sent off another email to ebay explaining to them what happened as as result of their non action.

Well FM if they are are not back up there again today, on another hijacked account of course,

Yeah, I know I'm not 'allowed' to list items, but then again, ebay is not really 'allowed' to let fraudulent activities continue without taking due care. By due care I mean a system in place so that when an item is reported as fraudulent it is checked immediately. The items I listed are so obviously fraudulent that they should have been pulled within an hour of my notification.

I may decide to bid these ones up to $20,000

Why would you bid on them rather than just reporting them?

Well this is the value of bidding. If you check out one of the items I reported yesterday where they were left to run you will see that it was not cancelled. BUT when I bid the new items up to $20,000 and THEN reported the new ones today, 271218516705 they WERE cancelled within an hour.

I do not understand this at all. Why do I need to make bids on items before a report will be investigated. This is not some trivial fraud either. Had I not bid on these today, (there were eight but I was only allowed to bid on six to "protect me" from overbidding LOL) then these 8 new ones would also have proceeded to the end, like the 6 yesterday did.

I agree, but as GBC has said, your reply to wardy079 was not warranted and a little rude.

As we are just members here like  you we can only offer advice, we can not tell you why or how eBay deal with these kinds of things.

Leave it to the hijack hunters now, they are a very dedicated group of eBayer's who are out to try and get eBay to take notice. 🙂

Hmmmmm..........I thought it was a legitimate question.... if you think it is dodgy why bid, as you have in the past, as per your post, not necessarily the ones you listed, instead of just reporting them.
