Fraudulent seller, piracy and poor English speaking customer service.

Hi,

I had follwiing issuses with a seller and then with ebay customer service.

I brought a software, that did not work. The product probally had some special requirement of 4 GB RAM and did not work. The seller had not advertised this.

ebay customer service gave ruling in favour of me and asked the seller to arrange return as it was their fault.

Seller requested me to contact customer service of the software company. I did and to my surprise   they said that the software was sold as version 12 but had a version 10 product key and is registered with 10 different people. I am not a expert in piracy but this looks like piracy to me.

I called ebay customer service again and expained everything ( wanted to give the call referance from the call with customer service of the software but they said not need). They said they will black list the seller and rule in my favour and confirm that with an email. 2 days passed and I receive no email.

Then I received an email saying the case has been given in favour of the seller.

What is going on dear

Is it not clear that:

1) The PRODUCT IS NOT AS DESCRIBED ( AS SOLD AS VERSION 12 BUT PRODUCT KEY IS FOR 10)

2) THE PRODUCT IS NOT WORKING.

3) IT IS PROBALLY PIRATED.

Is there anyone who can suggest how to speak to a ebay guy in Australia ( not Phillipines) who can understand better.

Also if need be put a compaint against the ebay guys or write to the CEO of ebay about the level of service, so that ebay customers feel safe and fraudulant sellers are brought to justice.

I am also going to write to Australian Federal Police and check if this is Piracy and is ebay helping piracy.

Re: Fraudulent seller, piracy and poor English speaking customer service.

Is the seller in Australia as these are the Australian boards and you are in the UK.

Think your feedback left for others may put you on the speshall list-oopsy.

Hi,

We are in Australia and the seller is in Australia.

Sorry I did not understand 'speshall list-oopsy' meaning.

Sellers are able to block buyers for any reason at all.

The feedback you have left for other sellers may flag you as a potential problem buyer and find you are a seller's blocked bidders list.
