I have noticed the ad has changed, shows a post price and different purchase price now.
Thank you.
However it would be a hard pass from me.
China based seller with not so stellar feedback... not too bad but not great.
.
Not to bad!!!!!! Really!!! 98.4%, but if you added all the neutrals to that it would drag it down even further. And have a read of them, dodgy as. Why would anyone buy from them.
Neutrals do not affect the percentage.
Have a read of the neutrals & negatives... many are for spurious reasons.
I don't know why anyone would buy from them... I am not privy to the motives of buyers.

Yeah I know neutrals dont impact the percentage, thats why I suggested to add the neutrals to the negs and you get even a worse picture. Yes one or 2 spurious, but still in the gutter.

Please read the first line of my reply to the OP.
I respect your right to your opinion.
Please allow me to voice mine.
Had I stopped at not so stellar feedback would you still have engaged in the picking of nits?
Do you have any suggestions to assist the OP?

Further - not sure why anyone would want to buy a chair from China - go local and put your bum on it this afternoon. ๐คฃ

Some Chinese clips would hold my hair
But all was bald - attack of Nair?
I sat my tush upon a chair
from China - but no seat was there.
My coccyx ached; Iโd fallen flat
No cushy tush and that was that.
The moral of this little ditty โ
Cheap tat is just an awful pity.

Best advise to OP is to stop buying from sellers with feedback in the gutter, and ignore those that say to quote ''not to bad''

Close but no cigar... I don't recall saying "not to bad".

I'm just generalising but on the listing page, if you go to Postage > See Details
and enter your Postcode > Get Rates, you'll see that the postage cost changes with different postcodes.
Some will see it as free postage and other postcodes will have a charge

I can understand why 2dned bought from the seller.
This seller has the little bit about being one of ebay's most reputable sellers attached to his feedback file.
He is an ebay rated top seller.
The new ad, as I saw it, lists the chair at $79.99 with free delivery or free pick up from Moorabbin.
I don't know where 2dned lives but for me, if I were to purchase such a thing, I could be sitting on that chair same day, as Moorabbin isn't far from here. So it certainly reads as local stock.
Also, I noticed an interesting thing.
If you look at the ad and click on feedback score, it takes you to feedback for that item. There seem to be 6. Most are positive and one of the negs says this: It really is a great chair and very good for my back, Thank you.
The other neg says it has not arrived.
To see the full range of feedback or get back to what i consider the normal feedback profile page takes a few clicks.
This is ebay's doing, it is trying to 'refine' the experience. I'd say many newbies may not even know they can go much further. Even clicking all feedback does not take you there, exactly.
2dned, if you are finding you are having trouble with all the ads of this kind, maybe consider buying from a store. By the time you add on $30 postage, you could probably get a good buy locally at not too much more.
