Getting my refund

I bought item that did not work as it should.  It has been a long time since I needed to start dispute and so I had no idea how to go about it.  I contacted the seller and they started offering me partial refunds.  It does not work, I do not want 50% off!!!  After couple of days I initiated eBay dispute, and immediately got the postage label, which I printed, posted the parcel, and watched it arrive in Sydney, and it was processed in facility at Granville week ago, then nothing.  Is there something I should do?  There used to be roundabout way to actually get to speak to somebody living, and problems like these could be resolved.  Or do I have to wait?  And what happens if the seller refuses to accept the parcel?

Was there anywhere to upload the tracking for the return in the dispute?

Quite possibly in is indeed still 'stuck' at the facility

Quite possible it has moved on from there and they just have not updated it

(not an eBay purchase, but I bought something a week ago that never moved off  'processing' under tracking and it was delivered today (still says 'processing now) and something else sat at the black hole of sorting for over a week

Have you tried typing 'speak to an agent' (or something similar) into the chat bot?

Not that it has anything whatsoever to do with the topic, but it stands out like cowboy caviar... in your fourth paragraph, the parentheses brackets have been left open - just saying 😉😂

So long as you have uploaded the tracking into the dispute, when it's delivered the seller should pay you.

If they don't or they refuse to accept the parcel, let eBay know and they will pay you and extract the money from the seller.

Why should I be uploading the tracking?  That was provided by eBay, and when I posted the parcel they emailed me telling me it's on the way and there was a button for tracking
