The global shipping is not new. It is notoriously slow and expensive though. By the looks of the tracking there, it was actually very quick to get out of Erlanger! They can sit there for 2 weeks before moving. They have released your parcel so it's now on its way. All going well, it should arrive within 2 weeks, but with slow postage this time of year, and also the public holidays, it may not arrive until the new year.
Once the new tracking number is uploaded, you should be able to click on it in your purchase history. It may not be scanned again until it reaches Australia though, so don't panic if nothing shows up for awhile.

As Tippy says....that is remarkable fast shipping for the GSP.
Just sit tight until it is showing as in Australia. At this time of the year it could be some time. Sometimes the next time it will be scanned is when it is delivered to you.

Well it seems it landed in Australia but wnDirect is handling it now, This parcel has been transferred to WNdirect for delivery to the final destination, so does that mean wnDirect will pass my item to Auspost for delivery?

I always thought the carrier from the USA was FedEx and wnDirect was from the UK.
It depends on the size of the item as to who delivers it. FedEx only hands small parcels to AP. the others they either deliver themselves or have delivered by other courier companies.
I don't know anything about wnDirect....just keep following the tracking and it will tell you where it is.

I have just checked.....wnDirect is the UK company that handles the GSP freight.
I have no idea how they came to have your item from the USA.

Well i emailed WnDirect about my parcel look what they said.
This item is currently in transit and can take 7 working days to be delivered. I would expect it to be delivered by the beginning of next week.
That is really bad service arrived in Australia last friday and takes another week for final delivery is just bad and slow service.

Of course it is terrible service. Australians have come to expect nothing else from the GSP.
However, the slow service once it is in Australia can be laid directly at ebay's doorstep. Buyers supposedly pay for a Priority delivery service but the amount paid to FedEx only covers economy service. I can't imagine the wnDirect is any different.

GLOBAL PRIORITY SHIPPING SUCKS. I live rurally and they just sign my parcel off in Sydney or Melbourne and then just chuck it in the mail, where if I'm lucky it will arrive unannounced in my street mailbox. Had a friend whose $2000 purchase ended up in her mailbox where ANYONE could have helped themselves!!

Smaller parcels have always been sent with AP as e-parcels.....nothing new there.
