Global Shipping Program

Hi all,
Just curious as i bought a guitar in america i bought it for $2350 AUD and is will be shipped through the global shipping program which says it includes import fees etc. My question is will i still have to pays fees, gst etc to customs here later on also will i still have to fill in seperate paper work through the customs for importing?

Yes Sportandplay, I'd heard that the items go to auction but not that they went to eBay...............a no-win situation for both the seller and the buyer methinks...................

Hopefully the OP will get their guitar without any problems.

Yep Stalka, so long as hamis keeps an eye on the 45 day cutoff for a dispute (with GSP being somewhat slow in deliveries a lot of the time.....) then there shouldn't be a problem either way........

Thanks everyone for the prompt responses, unfortunately I haven't bought something like this from overseas before so wasn't aware that I was paying to much for the delivery and customs etc because of the gsp , I'm just happy I don't have to do the paper work and such etc. And yes I have read quite a bit about the gsp so I'm happy I paid with PayPal and I am keeping a close eye on tracking it! I'll just be happy when I get that beautiful guitar in my hands 🙂

Hubby has 2 Fender Strats. (and a copy) 

He swapped a 1969 Rosewood Gibson for a

Strat copy and I wanted to cry.

He also has an Australian Maton accoustic - beautiful sound

Love guitars, I only have 4 at th moment, the Washburn, a 50's hand made, an old nylon and a nice f hole..... all accoustic.

Amazingly they all stay pretty much in tune too.
