HELP! Couterfeit Target swimmers?

I bought on line one piece swimmers that suppose to be size 14  from  Target.   According to the Target size chart 14 should fit person with hips 106 and bust 98.  I am bit less than that.  The swim suit I got is 76cm hips and only 70cm around ribs under the cups.  That is not even size 10 or child size.  It has a high back so person's bottom has to fit throuth the top opening, which will not stretch to even 80cm.   The only thing that occurs to me is that this is Asian size, BUT is there such a thing as Target  Chinese knock-offs?

Re: HELP! Couterfeit Target swimmers?

I have left the neg after we exchanged 10 messages and she keeps saying she is not responsible, and that  the size is correct, despite of the photos I sent her.

So now there is a message that if we cannot work it out I can ask eBay to step in after the 21st.  Is that at that stage I go to the MBG?

Thanks for the link, but I still cannot see when exactly  I need to apply for the MBG

By the way, these swimmers are so tiny that it is hard to believe it would not be noticeable even when in the plastic bag they came in/.  I mean there would be pratically 1/2 of the fabric.

Re: HELP! Couterfeit Target swimmers?

You need to read the link.

The seller has 3 business days to respond or offer a solution.

Spoiler
  Item significantly not as described
  • A buyer must request a return no later than 30 days after the actual (or latest estimated) delivery date, or, if the seller's return window is longer, within the return window.

  • The seller has 3 full business days from the request date to respond to the buyer or offer a solution. If the seller does not respond or offer a solution, the buyer can ask us to step in and help.

  • The buyer must send the item back to the seller no longer than 5 business days after starting the return. If the seller offers a replacement and the buyer doesn't post the original item back within 30 days of the buyer starting the return, we charge the buyer for the replacement.

  • If the seller offers a refund and doesn't issue it within 6 business days of their receiving the item back, the buyer can ask us to step in for a period of 10 business days after the refund deadline has passed.

  • If the seller offers a replacement but doesn't send it within 5 business days of the buyer starting the return, the buyer can ask us to step in for a period of 14 business days after the replacement deadline has passed or after the day the original item was returned to the seller, whichever is later.

  • If the buyer doesn't ask us to step in within 30 days of starting a return request (or within the timelines described if a refund or replacement isn't received), the request closes automatically.

.Keep all of her messeages

You have actually already started the process of the MBG....once you ask ebay to step in the dispute is almost sure to be found in your favour and the seller will be instructed to refund and pay for the return.  If they do not, then ebay will do it for them and tell you to keep the item.

Re: HELP! Couterfeit Target swimmers?

thanks guys, i haven't done this for years.  I had some problems but usually the seller fixes it immediately, so we do not get to this stage.  Or i just cannot be bothered to go through disputes, and I just cut my loses.  Lately I am taking more of my purchases straight  to the op-shop than those I am happy with.  😞   This drama is just the last straw, I am giving up on clothes shoping on eBay.
