Has all buying stopped?

So, we can't buy until we change our password, and we can't change password, because the system is clogged up, so has eBay come to a standstill?  Does anyone know how long it will take to clear all this backlog?  I feel sorry for the Sellers, what happens to all their auctions that will be ending and no-one able to bid on them?

I purchased a phone for the son on another ID last night. ( no change of passwords yet ) I waited until the last seven seconds for the snipe and it all went off without a hitch, so all systems still seem to be working. I tried to change one ID password this morning, but the systems still seems to be choked up. Will try again in a day or two.

i have noticed it very quiet in the last week or so with people buying things

even some of the categorys  i see same things being relisted

The last few weeks of the financial year are often slow for general retail sales.

The last week or so have been very sporatic. I've had a couple of extremly good days and the rest have been very poor. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.
